The short answer

A reliable order workflow moves every purchase through clear states: received, confirmed, paid when applicable, prepared, shipped and delivered. Exceptions should remain visible instead of being treated as completed orders.

Confirm the order

Review the products, stock, customer phone number and destination. Contact the buyer when important information is incomplete or the order looks unusual.

Confirm payment truthfully

COD stays unpaid until collection. Integrated digital payments should use their verification result. Manual QR submissions should be checked against the merchant’s receiving account before the order is marked paid.

Create the delivery

Package the order, confirm the selected destination and hand it to the configured courier or your own delivery process. When NCM is connected, eligible orders can use its branch, quote and shipment workflow; a standard shipping setup remains useful when the integration is unavailable.

Keep the customer informed

Send short, specific updates when the order is confirmed, shipped, delayed or delivered. MeroByapaar can support store contact and WhatsApp workflows, while the merchant remains responsible for the customer relationship.

Frequently asked questions

What should happen when delivery creation is uncertain?

Check the courier system before trying again. Repeating an uncertain request can create a duplicate shipment.

Should a screenshot mark an order as paid?

No. Verify the transaction in the receiving account or through the configured payment provider.

Who is responsible for fulfilling the order?

The merchant remains responsible for confirming, packing and fulfilling customer orders, including work performed through connected providers.
